I was born and raised in Palatka, Florida. After graduating valedictorian of my high school class, I attended the University of Florida Warrington College Of Business, where I served as a Student Government Cabinet Director and graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Business Administration.
During law school at the University of Florida, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Florida Law Review and graduated second in my class of 211 students. I was also inducted as a member of the Order of the Coif and Florida Blue Key.
I focus my practice on asset protection strategies, business succession plans, and tax-avoidance tactics. I enjoy helping families and business owners work toward financial success through a comprehensive planning process.
My passionate representation and advocacy for my clients led Florida Super Lawyers Magazine to recognize me as a "Rising Star," which is an award reserved for less than 2.5% of attorneys in Florida under the age of 40.
I support the community by volunteering with Haven Hospice, Putnam First Cancer Fund, The ARC, Kiwanis of the Azalea City, and Boy Scouts of America. My wife, Bethany, and I have three children and a boxer named Percy. I am an instrument-rated pilot, and enjoy hunting, fishing, and traveling.
